The Story
A natural white British sheepskin rug, the classic colour that springs to mind when you think of a sheep. In reality, they are cream in colour, and the shade of cream can vary greatly depending on the lighting and the breed. This one is quite a dirty cream for want of a better word! It also looks more golden under indoor artificial lighting.
The wool on this rug is lovely and soft to run your hands over, but the fleece is extremely matted beneath the surface, giving the rug a lovely padded depth.
The rug is not quite symmetrical, the bottom left side is larger than the right.
Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
Most Glencroft sheepskins go to specialist independent retailers across the country. We pick a few out each week for sale online, once they're gone they're gone!
